October 22 my life as a travelatortravelator is the name of those escalators that arnt escalators. You know the big long flat moving slopes that accomadate trolleys? I think it should be a word that describe people who travel lots.
In the last year I have filled my passport and seen things and done things that would shock and awe most of the people i know. I've met amazing people (ruth included) I've eated weird and wonderful things.
I've stood in Tianimen Square
I've Stood in Red Square
I've eaten wurst
And now I'm wondering if I should do it all again. Ruth says I need more adventure.
She's probably right

laterz July 22 FridayI worked this morning... it went really well suprisingly enough. I'm starting to get a hang of my class and they are starting to get used to me. After I finished with the class I took off down to a coffee shop on the coast to meet my new business partner, Carey. He's a really top bloke and I'm really looking forward to working with him. I kinda put him on the spot and wrote up an agenda for the meeting... This actually worked really well and I think I might try to keep doing it for the most part.
Basicly dad is going to be our figurehead, the man on all our video's and products. Carey is going to be doing our corporate liason doing the big thousand dollar deals. Me? I'm gonna be the project manager and systems co-ordinator. The other guys we can mix and match - all except 1 person.
Probably a girl or a charismatic bloke. We need someone - either thai or a westerner we havn't decided. Someone who is going to be really intergral in the business. Someone who can answer emails and do basic accounts, help me out in dealing with the kids and write up meeting agenda's. Send out memo's...
you know all the fun stuff.
Need to starting thinking of people.
Then on the last night my brother is free and in australia... What do i do? I call up my cousin and we play games and watch movies...
Oh well - see you next life time big brother =]

SaturdayWent to a graduation lunch today - some people were graduating from the tesol course and i thought i would go catch up with my old mates (moms business partners) I usually don't think about it but I rekon being able to call kim and ingrid mates is pretty cool.
Anyway after that I went to Dicey Rileys for a beer with some old work mates of mine... used to work at a software company with them. They were late and i was sitting at this table by myself with my beer, and there was some random bloke sitting at the table next to mine who looked nice enough so I walked over and sat down... told him to buy me a beer =]
Shot the shit for half an hour and then my mates arrived and we chatted for another few hours - got home in time to eat and sing happy birthday to my cousin and then called my sweet, beautiful, bored girlfriend... kinda felt bad cause I ran outa credit on my international calling card and then i was outa credit on my mobile too... after all that I took off to wolfmother (phew!)
Hopefully my sweetheart will be online or something tommorow so we can chat for hours! :)
After all that it's time for bed

That concert just went NUTS. I can't feel my body! I just got poked, prodded, elbowed, punched, kicked, slapped, groped, wacked, splashed, yelled at, headbutted, bitten and drunk.
IT WAS AWESOME. lol
It's really cool to see a good band who actualy has a decent amount of support ya know? There were about 20 thousand kids there and about half of those in the mosh pit. I'm currently soaked from head to toe... i think it's sweat... i don't think most of it is mine... I hope its not anything more suspect  |
